Brainbyte Referrals

A simple 10 percent referral program.

If you know founders, small teams, or studios who need a better website, an MVP, or an AI assisted video, you can send them to Brainbyte and earn a referral fee when the first project is delivered and fully paid.

No selling, no follow up required. You just make the intro or share a link. If they become a new client and we finish a project together, you receive ten percent of that first project as a thank you.

Referral snapshot

  • • You introduce someone who might be a good fit
  • • Brainbyte scopes, proposes, and runs the project
  • • When the first project is completed and fully paid, you earn 10%
  • • Applies to the first paid project with that new client
  • • Typical projects: 3,000 to 10,000 and higher
  • • Payouts via bank transfer, Wise, or PayPal

Example: if a referred project lands at 7,500 and is fully paid, your referral fee is 750.

How the referral program works

The referral program is designed to be clear and light. You are not responsible for selling, scoping, or project management. You simply connect people who might benefit from Brainbyte’s work.

Step 1

Make the intro

Introduce us by email or message. Ideally you copy both sides so everyone can reply easily. A short sentence about how you know them is enough.

Step 2

Brainbyte handles the rest

I take it from there. We explore their needs, scope the work, send a proposal, and if it feels right, start a project. You can stay copied or step back.

Step 3

You receive 10%

When the first project with that client is completed and the final payment is received, we calculate your 10% referral fee and send payment on the agreed method.

Ways to refer

  • • Email intro to create@brainbyte.dev with both of us copied
  • • Share https://brainbyte.dev or this page and ask them to mention your name in the contact form
  • • Put us in touch directly and then email me separately that it is a referral from you

The key is that I know who referred them before or during our first conversation so I can track it correctly.

How attribution works

  • • If you make a direct intro (CC both sides), you are credited automatically
  • • If they contact me through the site, they should mention your name
  • • If you prefer sharing a link, you can use a tracked referral link (optional)

Optional tracked link format

https://brainbyte.dev/referrals.html?ref=YOURNAME

If you use this, tell me what “ref=” value you want to use so I can match it if they reach out.

A quick note on timing

I keep things simple: once a first project is delivered and fully paid, you are eligible for the 10% referral fee. If the client pays in milestones, the referral is calculated after the final payment clears.

Friendly terms (so it stays clean)

  • • Referrals are for new clients (not existing conversations or past clients)
  • • Referral fee applies to the first paid project only unless we agree otherwise in writing
  • • If multiple people refer the same client, credit goes to the first clear, trackable intro
  • • Payout is sent after the project is delivered and fully paid (typically within 14 days)

What makes a good referral

Perfect leads are not required. Curiosity and a real need are enough. These are some patterns that tend to work well.

  • • A founder whose current site does not match the quality of their work
  • • A small team that needs an MVP to show investors or early customers
  • • A studio or agency that needs help with video, motion, or AI assisted storytelling
  • • A business that has grown past a DIY site and is ready for something more stable

Who is not a fit

  • • High pressure, “as cheap as possible” projects with no clear goal
  • • Work that requires heavy ongoing ad buying or media buying
  • • Projects that need a full-time in-house engineer rather than a studio

If you are not sure, you can still introduce us. I will let you know gently if it is not a good fit so you are not guessing.

What you can earn

The referral fee is ten percent of the first project fee with a new client you bring in. Here are some example ranges based on typical projects.

Smaller project

Example: 3,500 website or prototype.

Referral: 10% of 3,500

$350

Typical project

Example: 7,500 website + video, or MVP.

Referral: 10% of 7,500

$750

Larger build

Example: 15,000+ multi-module MVP or complex site.

Referral: 10% of 15,000

$1,500

Numbers are examples only. Actual fees depend on final scope, features, and timeline.

Quick questions

Do I have to manage the project?+
No. You do not manage the project or handle scoping. You make the introduction, I handle calls, proposals, production, and delivery.
When do I get paid?+
Once the first project with your referral is completed and fully paid, we calculate your 10% referral fee and send it within an agreed window (typically within 14 days).
Does the 10% apply to future projects with the same client?+
The standard referral applies to the first paid project only with that new client. Any future projects with the same client are not automatically included. If we ever want to structure something different together, we would agree on that in writing ahead of time.
What if someone is already talking with Brainbyte?+
If a contact is already in conversation or has been a past client, I will let you know. Referrals are meant for new clients that you introduce.
Can I also be a Sales Partner?+
Yes. If you want to take a more active role with discovery calls and higher commissions, we can talk about the Sales Partner option on a separate call so the structure stays clear.

Send a short email introduction with both of us copied, or ask them to reach out through the site and mention your name. That is all it takes to be counted as the referrer.
